At DivorceCare, you will become part of a small support group of people who are also experiencing separation and divorce. Through this 13 week course, you will learn there are others who understand what you are feeling and will be able to offer you encouragement. It is a series of support groups and seminars conducted by Tom and Kirsten Heyob who have both endured divorce and understand what you are experiencing. Most importantly, you will learn how to heal with the pain of the past and look forward to rebuilding your life.
Everyone in your family needs to find healing from the hurt and pain of divorce. In order to help your family recover, a companion course, DivorceCare for Kids, will also be offered during the same time as the adult DivorceCare class. Through fun games and activities your children will learn that God’s love strengthens them and helps them turn their sadness to hope and their anger to joy. This class is designed for ages 5-12 years old.
