RACIAL RECONCILIATION

Racial inequality is the inescapable reality of America. It didn’t begin with us, but it can end with us… if we choose to act.

Seven Hills Church is committed to using kindness and compassion to change the world.

IMAGINE

I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character. I have a dream that one day little black boys and black girls will be able to join hands with little white boys and white girls as sisters and brothers.

– Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

Imagine a world where this dream is reality.

Racial reconciliation can only happen when we work together through peace and unity. Here are a few things you can immediately do to help.

SAY SOMETHING

Start the conversation. It begins in the home.

Learning about race can be hard. Talking about race can be even harder. But it is a necessary step to increase our personal understanding and enable our collective action towards creating the world in which we want to live.

One of our core values is “We Proclaim the Solution” – at the end of the day, unity is more important than the problem. We are going to proclaim the solution and the answer.

Sometimes we don’t always have the answer, but we can still begin the conversation.

DO SOMETHING

We prayed this prayer a long time ago: “Lord, GIVE us to our city!” That’s why we will be joining our faith together through a Unity Prayer Walk.

When: Saturday, July 11th | 10-11:30am
Where: Yeatman’s Cove

705 E Pete Rose Way

Cincinnati, OH 45202

We will post more information when those details are available. If you have any questions please email Ryan at ryant@7hillschurch.tv

BeTheLight

Our heart is to serve our community during any season. Below you will find two different ways that you can make a difference. Serve the police, serve the protesters, serve the communities.

SERVE

As we continue to provide relief to the community from the effects of COVID-19, we will also be investing in many local outreach efforts to make an impact with racial reconciliation. Our Heart the City Fund is used exclusively for these efforts.
